What should you expect with a Service Agreement?

General preventative maintenance requires about an hour or less to complete per system.  If during the inspection process the technician finds dirty indoor or outdoor coils, motor, etc., then a heavy service is required.

Poor location directly on the ground can lead to damage, poor performance, and high maintenance costs.

Most systems require a heavy service every 1-2 years.  This consists of :

1. Condenser coil chemical wash and pressure back flush.  This is the only way to ensure completely clean and free of debris.

2. Evaporator coil wash and back flush.  In extreme cases, the coil must be removed.  Special provisions must be made to collect debris and rinse water.

3. Start up and test system.  With coils clean inside and outside, only then is it possible to get a true picture of how well the system is doing.  Calibration of the system can take an additional 30 minutes after chemical cleaning.
